DRAGON AIR RIFLE BLACK NORICA .22
The Dragon Air Rifle Black Norica .22 is a popular air rifle from the Spanish manufacturer Norica, known for producing quality spring-piston and gas-piston air rifles. The Dragon is a spring-powered, break-barrel air rifle that is typically used for small game hunting, pest control, and target shooting. It has gained a reputation for being both affordable and reliable, making it a good option for both beginners and intermediate airgun enthusiasts.

FEATURES
Here are some key features and details about the Norica Dragon:

1. Action Type
Break Barrel: The Dragon uses a break-barrel mechanism, which means the shooter cocks the rifle by breaking the barrel downwards. This compresses the spring or gas piston inside, readying the rifle for the next shot.
2. Powerplant
Spring-Piston: The Dragon is powered by a spring-piston mechanism. When you break the barrel, it compresses a strong coil spring, which then releases to propel the pellet out of the barrel when the trigger is pulled.
3. Caliber Options
The Norica Dragon is available in multiple calibres, with .177 (4.5mm) and .22 (5.5mm) being the most common. The choice of calibre depends on whether the shooter is focusing on target shooting or small game hunting.
4. Power Output
The Dragon typically produces good power. This is adequate for small game hunting and target shooting within reasonable distances.
5. Accuracy and Range
The Dragon is generally regarded as accurate within medium ranges, typically up to 30-50 yards. It features an automatic safety mechanism that engages when the barrel is broken, reducing the risk of accidental discharge.
6. Stock and Build
The stock is usually made from synthetic or wood materials, with a design that is ergonomically friendly. The synthetic versions are lighter and more weather-resistant, while the wood versions offer a more traditional look and feel.
The rifle also has a checkered grip and fore-end to enhance handling and control.
7. Trigger
The Dragon features a two-stage adjustable trigger, which can be tuned for personal preference. This allows for smoother, more consistent shots and better overall control, especially for target shooting.
8. Sights and Optics
It comes with open iron sights (front and rear) for fast target acquisition. Many shooters choose to mount a scope for better accuracy at longer ranges, and the Dragon typically has 11mm dovetail rails for easy scope mounting.
9. Weight and Handling
The rifle is generally considered medium-weight, making it suitable for both young and adult shooters. The weight helps reduce recoil, which can aid in accuracy, especially when shooting at longer distances.
10. Recoil
Like many spring-piston rifles, the Dragon produces noticeable recoil when fired. However, if equipped with a gas piston (depending on the variant), the recoil is often smoother and less harsh compared to traditional spring-powered models.
11. Price
The Norica Dragon is typically priced as a budget to mid-range air rifle, making it a good choice for shooters who are looking for quality without breaking the bank.
